Significance of endothelial dysfunction in the pathogenesis of Brucellosis

Abstract

The pathogenesis of modern Brucellosis is intracellular parasitism. This determines the high risk of transition to a chronic course leading to disability, which determines the social significance of this disease. The review summarizes literature data on endothelial dysfunction in brucellosis. Endogenous intoxication, bacteremia leads to the development of endothelial dysfunction, leading to impaired microcirculation, contributing to the formation of multiple organ lesions, which in turn can play a role in improving the prediction of the course and treatment of the disease.
