The soil sanitary condition in the study areas of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra

Abstract

The aim – to determine the sanitary condition of the soil and the degree of epidemic danger in the territories with different climatogeographic characteristics of the KhMAO-Yugra.

Material and methods. The Sanitary sampling and parasitological research of the soil were carried out in accordance with MUK 4.2.2661-10 “Methods of sanitary and parasitological research”. The viability of the identified helminth eggs was determined by thermostating method. The study was conducted in the parasitological laboratory of the Epidemiology center of Rospotrebnadzor in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District in Nizhnevartovsk, Megion and Raduzhny cities and in the areas of Beloyarsk, Nizhnevartovsk and Kondinsk districts that we selected.

Results and discussion. The results of soil sanitary and parasitological research shows that the proportion of positive samples in various areas was 2.44±0.6% in the Beloyarsk, 2.64±0.6% Nizhnevartovsk and 3.26±0.7% Kondinsk areas. We established the features of the distribution of the invasive beginning in the soil by using detailed analysis of the soil at the regions. Data on the sanitary and parasitological characteristics of these areas are given.
