Ricketsiosis (material for the preparation of the lecture)

Abstract

Over the past decades, the problem of infectious diseases accompanied by hemorrhagic syndrome, in particular rickettsial etiology, has become one of the priorities. These diseases are referred to as "emerging" (unpredictable), threatening to complicate the epidemic situation. The emergence of new rickettsioses is explained, among other things, by the diversity and wide distribution of tick species, vectors of rickettsia and the evolution of the pathogen. The review examines the clinical manifestations of rickettsioses and the features of hemocoagulation disorders.
