Key achievements in the study of the hepatitis C virus and the infection it causes (material for the preparation of the lecture)

AbstractThe review of scientific literature is devoted to the actual problem of domestic and world health care -hepatitis C (HCV). There is analysis of the main results obtained in the study of the HCV: laboratory diagnostics; the main features of virus; features of epidemiology; clinical, pathophysiological and oncological aspects of HCV; problems of antiviral treatment. The paper focused specifically on HCV infection like multidisciplinary health problem. Prospects for solving this problem were described.
