Distance: lessons of the workshop of the Educational and Methodological Commission on Infectious Diseases
AbstractThe transition of the higher medical school to distance learning required the adaptation of digital technologies to the educational process in an emergency mode. The presence of educational Internet portals in universities contributed to this transition.
Results. The analysis of the experience of distance education at the departments of infectious diseases showed that it is impossible to form professional competencies of future doctors when using it. The components of the educational process that can be conducted online and those that require face-to-face contact interaction are identified.
Conclusion. The experience of using remote technologies in the educational process at the departments of infectious diseases should be taken into account when building a post-pandemic educational environment, which will have a mixed format.
