Formation of the doctor's spiritual culture is the key to successful professional development

Abstract

At the present time, a medical school needs to create a unified model of education and upbringing, which would rely on humanistic and patriotic values.

The аim of research - designing practical classes and various assignments for students when studying the discipline "Internal Diseases", aimed at the formation of professional and general cultural competencies.

Material and methods. The authors give an original methodology for organizing and conducting practical classes with students on the discipline "Internal Diseases", using the example of the topic "Differential diagnosis of diseases manifested by bronchoobstructive syndrome. Principles of treatment". The pedagogical experiment involved 51 people (24 students in the experimental group and 27 in the control group).

Results and discussion. According to the results of the final test control, the average score for the occupation in the control group was 75, while in the experimental group it was 86. After completing the lesson using innovative teaching methods, the level of knowledge in the experimental group increased by 11 score compared to the control one.

Conclusion. The proposed methodology of the session allows to increase the effectiveness and quality of education and upbringing, and also creates the conditions for the formation of professional and general cultural competencies of the future doctor.
