Clinical and epidemiological peculiarities of the general meningococcal infectionand new opportunities of therapy

Abstract

The articLe presents an anaLysis of the cases of generaLized meningococcaL infection, which were treated from 1995 to 2016. CLinicaL and epidemioLogicaL features of the disease for this period were anaLyzed, the features of the course of generalized meningococcal infection caused by meningococcal serogroup W135 in children of different age groups are described. The efficiency of inclusion of extracorporeal methods of therapy in the protocol of treatment of patients with generalized form of meningococcal infection complicated by refractory septic shock is shown.
