Prevention of meningococcal infection with conjugate vaccines

AbstractThe article discuss the problem of meningococcal disease and its prevention in Russia and worldwide, presents data on the epidemiological characteristics and features of the disease,as well as the modern abilities of immunization against meningococcal disease at now days. A significant contribution to the epidemic process of meningococcal infection in children and new opportunities to protect them with meningococcal conjugate vaccine of immunization are shown.
