Viral hepatitis A in HIV-infected men

AbstractOutbreak of viraL hepatitis A (HA) among HIV-infected men who have sex with men (MSM) reguLarLy recorded in Europe. In Russia information on the incidence of HA in HIV-infected not avaiLabLe, as these patients are not singLed out from the totaL number of cases HA. The purpose of this study is to anaLyze epidemioLogicaL and cLinicaL data of cases of HA in HIV-infected men. A cLinicaL-epidemioLogicaL anaLysis of 22 cases among HIV-infected men in Moscow confirmed the prevaiLing epidemic situation in HA in EU countries. The necessity of change of the vector of primary prevention with an emphasis on educationaL activities among risk groups and primariLy HIV-infected MSM.
