Liver condition in TB/HIV patients on TB and cART treatment
AbstractThe articLe anaLyzes the frequency of hepatotoxic reactions in 173 patients with newLy diagnosed TB patients with HIV infection who were treated in a TB hospitaL. Dynamics of hepatic transaminases and biLirubin was evaLuated. The frequency of severe Liver injury (III-IV degrees) was Low, not exceeding 17.7%. In 1/4 of patients, abnormaLities of biochemicaL indices were not reveaLed. The most frequentLy encountered an increase in transaminase LeveLs I-II degrees (61.8% of patients), did not request a correction TB therapy. It was found that the risk factors for hepatotoxicity, such as the presence of chronic viraL hepatitis, the use of anti-TB second Line drugs, combined treatment with anti-TB and antiretroviraL drugs do not have a negative impact on the functionaL state of the Liver in patients with combination of TB and HIV.
