Epidemiological features of helminthiasis as a combined pathology

AbstractThe article describes the relevance of combined parasitic diseases, especially helminth infections, problem questions of epidemiological features of helminth infections combined with a wide range of infectious and parasitic diseases, as well as fungal infections. Combined helminth infections are most commonly associated with infectious diseases, which have a similar mechanism of transmission, namely the fecal - oral. There are cases of a combination of helminth infections not only with other groups of infectious disease, but also among themselves (2, 3 or more associations). The most common combinations are associated with ecology of Assiociants: anthroponosis + anthroponosis, anthroponosis + zoonosis, zoonosis + zoonosis. The issues of their interaction with each other and influence on the clinical manifestations of disease. Special attention is paid to the current legal documents that govern the epidemiological surveillance and control of these infections. No special approaches to surveillance for the combined helminth infections emonstrate the relevance of the problem concerned and the need to review existing regulations and guidance documents, taking into account the epidemiological features of parasitic diseases in the population of Russia.
