Medical staff involvement as a key factor that can influence on clinical diagnostic laboratory practice quality management system implementation

Abstract

One of guarantees of quality assurance of the made products - is availability in the organization irre­spective of pattern of ownership of the operating quality management system (QMS). Specifics of functioning of the medical organization are that there is a set of the factors providing compliance of quality of the carried-out services to the established requirements.

Purpose - in a research studying of an involvement of personnel into ensuring functioning of SMK in the context of knowledge and use of the quality standards was carried out.

Methods. tontinuous social research of all staff of clinical laboratory was conducted by a questioning method.

Results. Сomplete coincidence between knowledge and use of the quality standards among heads of clinical laboratory while among employees incomplete compliance on these line items especially is observed is established it is expressed in focus group of laboratory assistants-technologists.

Conclusion. The received results of a research testify to need of enhancement of process of involvement of personnel and mechanisms of its motivation as the factors influencing ensuring functioning of the quality management system (QMS) in practice of clinical diagnostic laboratory.
