Listeriosis

Abstract

Conducted studies of various samples for listeriosis, including the crops of urine and smears from the cervical canal of pregnant women, blood culture, urine and the contents of the tracheobronchial tree in infants with pathology of respiratory organs, and also samples of the placenta.
We used bacteriological method (inoculation of media), serological method, was also carried out post-mortem examination of the internal organs of dead fetuses, newborns and placentas.
Based on these data, analysis of disease history and results of pathoanatomical research described various forms of listeriosis, from asymptomatic carriage to generalized forms.
