Features of the course of enterobiasis in primary and recurrent invasion

Abstract

Enterobiosis peculiarity of children is a chronic disease associated with long-term presence of the causative agent of the disease in the body and multiple re-infection. The peculiarities of manifestations enterobiosis in primary and re-invasion of pinworms. 267 children were examined at the age of 3 to 18 years. Found that when re-infestation pinworms largest number of complaints were irritability, itching, bruxism. When the primary infestation to sleep at night, and diarrhea are common complaints in children.
The presence of allergic complaints (itching, rashes) when the prevalence of enterobiasis in children with re-infestation is a consequence of the sensitising action of the products of metabolism of helminths.
