Laboratory diagnostics of dangerous infectious diseases in view of biological safety

Abstract

Laboratory diagnostics of dangerous infectious diseases in the Russian Federation is carried out by the Rospotrebnadzor institutions, in the frame of three-level system. At present provided is readiness to carry out laboratory diagnostics of a wide range of infectious diseases, agents of majority of which are attributed to the category of particularly dangerous and dangerous ones. New diagnostic technologies, modern preparations are implemented into practice, assured are standardization of diagnostic approaches, improvement of normative and methodical basis, and high level of professional training of specialists. All this enhanced quality and reliability of laboratory diagnostics which is carried out in the institutions taking part in the provision of sanitary and epidemiological welfare in the Russian Federation.
