Dengue fever

Abstract

Dengue fever – a dangerous acute viral disease caused by a flavivirus of the same name, is widespread in SouthEast Asia and the Pacific region, which accounted for about 75 % of all diagnosed cases. According to WHO experts, due to the rapid spread of the disease has a global threat to public health. The risk of Dengue infection are more than 2.5 billion people. Discussed the questions of pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and laboratory diagnosis of the disease.
