Differential diagnosis of acute diarrhea

Abstract

In the article they have listed the criteria of the differential diagnosis between acute intestinal infections and surgical, gynecological and therapeutic diseases.

There are about 30 forms of acute intestinal infections. The infective agents of acute intestinal infections can be bacteria, virus or other infective agents. In the in the ethological structure of this diseases today, viruses are more common. Among the acute intestinal infections, the practicing doctor must be able to diagnose dysentery and cholera in time. Among acute bacterial infections food poising and salmonella are more common, dysentery is rare. As an exception from other diseases, dysentery requires anti-epidemiological approach. The differential diagnosis of acute intestinal infections and the therapeutic, surgical and gynecological diseases requires a lot of responsibility. The article has been illustrated table form of the main diagnostic criteria.
