"Specialist - to the therapist" - a new element in the education of a modern physician

Abstract

Information about new forms of professional education of outpatient doctors, implemented on the basis of the Scientific and practical center for training and continuous professional development of primary care specialists of A.I. Yevdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation. Interdisciplinary educational dialogue between doctors of different specialties increases the awareness of therapists in terms of diagnosis and treatment of related pathology, including infectious nature. In the context of practical health care, the majority of patients with infectious disease are initially in the field of view of the therapist or General practitioner of the polyclinic. Therefore, the educational events "Infectious diseases therapist" started in the form of webinars in 2019 aroused great interest of specialists and will be continued, including in the form of publications. The webinars discussed issues of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases that are most common in outpatient therapeutic practice, with an emphasis on the earliest possible detection of such pathology.
