Immunostructure of the population of the city of Yakutsk to hepatitis A virus
AbstractThe aim of this study was to establish the level of seropositivity to the hepatitis A virus (HA) among different age groups of the population of Yakutsk.
Material and methods. The materials of the official statistics in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are used in the work. Blood serums were selected by random sampling from 1018 people aged 0 to 70 years who were treated in medical institutions in Yakutsk. IgG class antibodies to the HA virus were determined by the ELISA method (a test system for the qualitative determination of antibodies to the HA virus with a sensitivity of at least 20 IU/l).
Results and discussion. A decrease in the incidence of HA on the background of vaccination was revealed. Analysis of the dynamics of the level of morbidity and vaccination of the population revealed an inverse correlation of average strength (Pearson's corellation coefficient r=-0.67; p=0.003).
