Portfolio of the discipline «infectious diseases» as an alternative of a new educational technology

Abstract

Aim of portfolio - to show the potential of application of a new educational technology "Student's portfolio" of the discipline "Infectious diseases" as one of the evaluation tools provided for by the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education.

Material and methods. Description of the portfolio's structure and its sections.

Results and discussion. The authors provide an example of the student's portfolio design of the discipline "infectious diseases" to represent it at the exam and to get extra credit and to improve the final grade. The portfolio of the discipline "infectious diseases" may further be used for residency training and for enhancement of the applicant's competitive abilities.
