Modern approach to the organization and conduct of field courses professional development of specialists

Abstract

The rapidly changing Living conditions of society increase the requirements for a specialist, and the methodology of further professional education. The training of highly qualified personnel at the present stage, in addition to existing practice, includes training related to the introduction of electronic and multimedia technologies. Particular importance is attached to the development of distance learning.

The aim of the study is the organization of field training courses for specialists in the field of epidemiology, bacteriology, laboratory diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases. Using the analytical method, we studied the legislative, regulatory, methodological documents, publications in the field of electronic and remote technologies in the organization and conduct of field training courses for bacteriologists, epidemiologists, and laboratory assistants.

Results and discussion. The use of e-learning and distance learning technologies in the implementation of on-site courses programs allows you to: 1) significantly expand the possibilities of individualization and differentiation of specialist training; 2) to the student of the courses in absentia, regardless of the territorial location, independently master the modules intended for study, individually plan the work schedule; use educational materials set out in accordance with the latest achievements of science and technology, the current legislative and regulatory framework; 3) remotely control the level of assimilation of knowledge; 4) combine the acquisition of knowledge in the framework of part-time training with a detailed study of relevant issues in practical classes with full-time training.

Conclusion. The use of elements of electronic, distance learning and knowledge control in the part-time form of training of bacteriologists, epidemiologists, laboratory assistants significantly increase the effectiveness of training at retreats.
